Roberta Hutchison Ostarwas going to write the great American novel after she graduated, but that didn't work out. So, at the age of 92, she finally wrote down the stories her mother had been telling for years about her life growing up in Iowa and teaching in a rural one-room school.
She found the world of self-publishing and produced a book titled "Thy Servant Aletha."
Roberta (Bobbie) said the "very modes" book "seems to at least please my family!"
